...we landed in Ethiopia! We were so late getting in because of terrible delays, we thought our chances of meeting Ayla that day were gone. Little did we know that our timing was perfect and as we pulled up to the guest house the families were getting ready to leave. We literally threw our stuff in the room, changed clothes and piled into cars with everyone else. So many introductions, so quickly, but we could tell right away that everyone was just as excited as we were to be on their way to meet their children. Goodness, these months have flown by. Ayla has fit right into our family and we feel so blessed to have such wonderful children. More to come as the week goes on...
we spent the night in a hotel by the airport to make our 6am flight out of Indy
we spent hours delayed in Dulles airport, thanks to the volcano blowing ash over Iceland
finally..our plane arrived! we were so happy to finally be on our way
getting ready for the long journey to Ethiopia. we had been travelling so long by this time...we were kind of a mess!
