I know many of you are probably thinking..'who posts about their dog's birthday??' But Ruby is so much more than 'just a dog' to our family. She has been there for us through the best and the absolute worst of times. She is gentle, patient, loving, super-tolerant, non-judgemental, a good listener, a good snuggler and has fully accepted the two most recent additions to our family without one complaint, even though it meant less and less attention for her. She is incredibly sensitive to our stress and our moods and always seems to know when we need her to be extra cuddly.
She is the one and only dog we will ever have, because really, no dog could ever be as fantastically wonderful as she is. We feel so lucky and so grateful that we have Ruby in our lives.
Happy 5th Birthday, Ruby! I hope you know how much we all love you!
